A local Sarasota company Quik Internet, 5333 N Tamami Trail, Sarasota is hosting the site for the Shelter at no cost with Cox Marketing providing the design services.

Viewers to the web site will be able to see pictures of some of the wonderful dogs, cats, kittens and puppies available for adoption 24 hours a day. Adoption information and the adoption contract are on the site, as well as hours of operation, directions, etc.

The shelter has numerous educational brochures available about pet ownership and these can be found on Bishop’s web pages. It is a great way to quickly answer that question of "is an azalea plant or a poinsettia plant dangerous to my pet?" or "Can I take my dog into Canada without a visa?"
