Bishop Animal Shelter is home to many homeless
dogs and cats. The Shelter receives animals from owners who can no
longer keep them. Animals who are abandoned and some strays
after all attempts to locate their owners fail. All animals
are checked by a veterinarian technician, spayed or neutered and
given all necessary shots before being placed for adoption.
Most animals are mixed breeds, but occasionally pure breeds
are available. Adult dogs and cats, as well as puppies and kittens
are waiting for a new home. They will have a home at the Shelter,
health permitting, until permanent loving homes are found.
The adoption fee is a donation of $40.00 per animal, for
either a male or female dog or cat. Payment can be made in
cash or by check with proper identification. |
